Rachel Self (nee McMath)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother on Saturday, February 24, 2007. She now joins her beloved husband and best friend Albert. She is deeply and sadly missed by her son James and his wife Wendy, as well as her cherished granddaughters Julia and her husband Jeff, Laura and her husband Michael, grandson Stuart and his wife Patricia and her adorable great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her brothers James, Robert, sister Kathleen, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her much loved 5 sisters and 3 brothers. The family would like to thank the caring staff at St. Joseph’s Health Centre and the devoted staff at Baycrest Centre Comfort Care Unit. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 am. A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 11:30 am. In Rachel’s memory donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be appreciated.
