Joseph Florjancic

(Born December 15, 1937 in Ponikva, Slovenija) Peacefully on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at Credit Valley Hospital with his family at his side after a courageous battle with cancer. Joseph, beloved husband of Marija. Dear father to Joseph, Tony and Andrew James. Sadly missed by his daughter-in-law Lisa and his grandchildren Eric and Brittany. Also survived by sisters Milena and Jelka in Slovenia, brother Louis, nieces Mojca in Slovenija, Barbara, Susan, nephew Louis and other family and friends. Joseph enjoyed playing soccer, volleyball and bocca and especially enjoyed coaching soccer. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Monday from 5 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass Tuesday 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church (739 Browns Line). Interment Assumption Cemetery, Mississauga. If desired, donations to Dom Lipa would be appreciated by the family.
