Peacefully on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 surrounded by his family. Born in Poland and immigrated to Canada in 1959. Loving husband of Leokadia. Adoring father to Andrew (Margaret), Christopher (Andrea) and Anna (Raymond) Rivet. Kochany Dziadek to Sandra, Hayden and Zofia. Survived by his brother Walter (Stefania). Janusz was an avid fisherman who inspired in his family, his love for the outdoors. Retired from DeHavilland Aircraft after over 30 years of Service. His voice and songs will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home; 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm & 7 to 9 pm. Prayers 8pm. Funeral Mass at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church on Monday at 10am. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Lung Association.
