W. II Veteran, Second Armoured Division) On Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga in his 95th year. Beloved husband of Helen (nee Lesaichuk). Dear father of Marlene (the late Ken Leger) of Toronto, Richard (Jill) of Port Perry and Deborah Bates-Conforti (Joseph) of Toronto. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Amanda, Danielle, Jennifer, David, Emma, Abbey, great granddaughter Juliette, and sister Neva Borne of Burk&#8217;s Falls. Predeceased by his brothers William, Robert, Percy, Ted, Roy, Carl and sister Martha. Also missed by many other family and friends. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. and Monday at Alderwood United Church from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12 Noon.
