He will be greatly missed by his two sons Charlie and Willie, his brothers and sisters Aurea, Laura, Graeme, Selma, Ean, Janice, Ali, Alison, Baby Violet, and their families, his wife for 25 years Pat, his companion until the end Agnes, his soon to be daughter-in-law Blair, and all his loving friends. Gordon had an unflinching spirit and passion for his life, and anyone who came into it, as evidenced by a legion of friends neighbors and colleagues who all loved him dearly. He was a truly genuine man whose charm, wit, and passion will leave a mark on all those who knew him. He spent his last days doing what he loved, tinkering under a car with his two sons. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Saturday from 12 noon to 1pm. Service will be held in the Chapel at 1pm. Donations to the Salvation Army or The Moose Lodge in his memory would be appreciated.
