Frank Strickland

Unexpectedly in his 73rd year peacefully in his sleep on August 18th, 2009. Frank led an active life in community and business, a beloved brother of local 700 and 721 of the Iron Workers Union. He enjoyed outdoor life, especially fishing. He will be missed by his wife Dorothy. He is survived by his daughter Sharron, sons Omer, Jimmy, Kim and granddaughters Vanessa, Shannon, Alyssa, Samantha, Sarah and grandson Matthew. Thank you to the family and friends who were pillars of strength who loved Frank. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday at 3 p.m. followed by cremation.
