Beloved wife of the late Alexander. Much loved mom to Alicia and her husband Robert. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews Gail &amp; Gary, Verna, Allen, Gord, Maureen and Margaret. Sadly missed by other family and friends. Elsie came to Canada in 1924, lived on the Hamilton Mountain and went to St. Stephen On-The-Mount Church, and when her family moved downtown, she attended St. Mathew&#8217;s Church. She also attended St. Mark&#8217;s and St. Margaret's Church. Elsie volunteered her time at Macassa Lodge and Meals on Wheels as well as working full time at Kresge&#8217;s Store downtown. She will be remembered for her sense of humour , her zest for life and an inquisitive nature about the world around. A graveside service was held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Woodland Cemetery in Hamilton.
