Edward Zelazko

After a valiant struggle with cancer, Edward passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Saturday, October 6, 2007. Born in Bystre, Poland on February 1, 1932. He travelled to Toronto with his wife Janina. Beloved father of sons Ted, Steven, Eddie (Debbie) and daughter Joanna. Dear grandfather of Michael and Nicholas. Edward was a dedicated machinist of Goodyear Canada in Etobicoke for 25 years. His special interests were playing the violin and accordion at family gatherings. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Monday form 6 to 9pm & Tuesday from 2 to 4pm & 7 to 9pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church (100 Tenth Street) on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 10 am. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery.
