Catherine Yonka

Suddenly at Princess Margaret Hospital on Thursday, February 21st, 2008. Catherine a loving daughter of Stephen Yonka and the late Anne (Gaba). Loving sister to William and Taras, niece to Nadia Pilipenko, cherished cousin to Marie & Michael. Catherine was born October 11, 1950 in Toronto. She received her education at Alderwood Collegiate and York University 1972. She was a dedicated primary grade school teacher in Etobicoke for 30 years. Catherine leaves family and friends in shock and deep sorrow. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Monday from 12 to 2pm & 7 to 9pm. Panakhyda 7:30pm. The Orthodox Rite of Funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at 11am in the Chapel. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
