Surrounded by her family, it is with great sadness they announce the passing of a wife and mother on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at the age of 60. She is survived by her loving husband Martin and her 3 caring children Martin Jr., Andrej and Helen. She will be missed by her adoring sisters Vida and Margaret and their families. She showed tremendous character throughout life and inspired many during her courageous battle. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 9pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church. Cremation. In Bernarda’s memory the family would appreciate donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
