Archie R. Morrison

After a long illness in his 76th year formally of Sydney, Nova Scotia, Cape Breton Island. Archie was a loving father of Ross, from his late wife. Grandpa to Scott (Dianne) and Great Grandpa to Jordon, Owen and Jessie. Archie leaves his brothers Wilood and Donald. Archie was a hard worker and loving man. He worked for Dasco Steel Co for thirteen year, was laid off. Archie decided to leave Cape Breton to find better work, he came to Toronto in 1961 where he worked at Goodyear Rubber and Tire Co until it closed. In 1962 he met his wife Merle Montgomery who he married in 1963. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Thursday October 26, 2007 from 7 to 9pm. A Celebration of Life will take place Friday at 11am in the Chapel. Cremation to follow. Memorial Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Canadian Diabetes Association or the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
