She is survived and lovingly remembered by Stanley, her husband of nearly 60 years, her daughter Sharon Stabb, son-in-law Gordon, granddaughters Lindsay and Katharine, from Calgary; her brother Clifton and sister-in-law Betty Lou Digby of Mississauga, and many nieces and nephews. Alice was predeceased by her brother Ronald and sisters Charlotte and Ellen. Alice was devoted to her family and visited Stan nearly every day at the McCall Centre until she became ill. Many thanks to the friends and neighbours at her Lake Promenade apartment who were so attentive and caring to Alice and Stan, to caregivers from Etobicoke CCAC, and to the staff of Unit 4E at St. Joseph&#8217;s Hospital. A memorial service for Alice will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CNIB, 1929 Bayview Ave., Toronto, Ontario M4G 3E8.
